However, the increase in demand has not been balanced with the quality of livestock, management skills, distribution network, and the fulfillment of meat quality standards according to SNI 3932-2008. Farmers still depend on wild feed whose nutrients do not support productivity, thus having an impact on health, fattening, and economic stagnation of livestock groups. This activity aims to identify problems, empower farmers, and formulate training strategies to improve independence and welfare. The output produced is in the form of a manual for processing silage and ammonia feed, utilizing traditional feed ingredients that are abundant during the rainy season and can be stored for 6-12 months. Feed fermentation technology training is expected to be able to increase productivity up to 1.5–2 times compared to before. In addition, the formation of livestock business groups with a good management system is carried out through socialization and workshops related to business management, product packaging, and selling price determination. The program is carried out through three stages: (1) preparation in the form of problem identification, coordination, and socialization with partners of the Keban Jamu Hamlet Hamiri Breeder Group; (2) implementation in the form of socialization, planting grass feed banks, as well as fermented feed training and business management; (3) monitoring and evaluation to assess the improvement of knowledge, skills, and marketing capabilities oriented to long-term livestock growth.
Abdul Salam Hartini Husni Copyright (c) 2025 Majalah Ilmiah UPI YPTK https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-08 2025-12-08 64 78 10.35134/jmi.v32i2.189 Community Empowerment in MSME Craft Production Based on Conventional Method and Innovation with 3D Printing https://jmi-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jmi/article/view/184
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the economic growth of Padang City, particularly in the handicraft sector, which represents both cultural identity and a vital source of local economic activity. However, technological limitations and low production efficiency remain major obstacles to improving the competitiveness of local crafts in the global market. Early marriage often leads to severe health consequences like high maternal and infant mortality rates, preeclampsia, and anemia due to an immature reproductive system. The current minimum marriage age is 19 years for both genders as regulated by Law Number 16/2019. This community service aimed to address the lack of knowledge among adolescents on this critical issue. The activity at Junior High School 23 Palembang utilized the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, focusing on legal counseling and interactive discussions for ninth-grade students. The core material covered legal provisions, social, mental, and reproductive health impacts, and the roles of parents and schools. A key finding was the significant improvement in student understanding, as evidenced by the evaluation: the average score increased from 56.25 on the pre-test to 90.82 on the post-test, an increase of 34.58 points. This result confirms the effectiveness of the legal counseling in enhancing students' legal knowledge and fostering a positive attitude to reject early marriage and act as agents of change.
Rizha Claudilla Putri Sri Handayani Muhamad Rasyid Adila Azani Copyright (c) 2025 Majalah Ilmiah UPI YPTK https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-08 2025-12-08 96 101 10.35134/jmi.v32i2.185 Financial Literacy Through Financial Reporting Training for MSMEs In Tugu Village https://jmi-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jmi/article/view/195
MSMEs a crucial role in the local economy in Tugu Village, Sendang District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province. The initiative was designed to address the low level of legal literacy among inmates, particularly regarding their fundamental rights under the newly enacted Criminal Code, which emphasizes human dignity, restorative justice, and proportional punishment. The program adopted a participatory empirical method consisting of five stages: preliminary assessment, legal socialization, educational implementation, evaluation, and sustainability planning. Data were obtained through pre-tests, post-tests, interviews, and observation involving 50 female inmates as respondents. The pre-test revealed that only 32% of inmates understood their basic legal rights, while post-test results showed a significant increase to 86%, indicating a 54% improvement in legal comprehension. This enhancement was achieved through interactive legal education that combined lectures, case-based discussions, and role-playing simulations tailored to inmates’ educational levels. Qualitative results also demonstrated positive behavioral and attitudinal shifts, such as increased assertiveness in legal communication, active participation in institutional dialogue, and peer-to-peer legal information sharing. Moreover, factual institutional data indicated that prior to this program, only 15% of inmates had received structured legal counseling. The program thus filled a critical educational gap, aligning with the United Nations’ Nelson Mandela Rules and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 & SDG 16), which emphasize education, justice, and institutional inclusivity. The study concludes that the socialization of Law No. 1 of 2023effectively strengthens prisoners’ understanding of their rights, enhances institutional human rights practices, and promotes the transition from a punitive to a rehabilitative correctional model. This approach serves as a replicable framework for legal empowerment across other correctional facilities in Indonesia.

Nadillah Maudi Cahyani Nashriana Syaiful Asmi Hasibuan Rida Kherin Oktavianty Copyright (c) 2025 Majalah Ilmiah UPI YPTK https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-08 2025-12-08 108 116 10.35134/jmi.v32i2.190 Unplugged Coding Media Creation Socialization https://jmi-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jmi/article/view/183
Coding represents an introduction to the fundamental principles of programming and logical reasoning, which can be delivered through enjoyable and interactive activities. The primary focus of the activity was to enhance motivation, creativity, and human resource (HR) planning skills among students of SMKN 1 Ciruas as an effort to foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This program was designed based on the students’ real needs, as they still faced low learning motivation, lack of self-confidence, and limited understanding of how to develop career plans and utilize their potential to face future challenges. The implementation methods employed expository and inquiry-based approaches. The expository method was used to deliver fundamental concepts of human resource planning, motivation, creativity, and basic principles of entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, the inquiry method encouraged students to think critically through group discussions, case studies, brainstorming business ideas, and simulations of career planning. The integration of these two methods enabled students to acquire theoretical knowledge while also gaining practical experience relevant to their personal development needs. The results of the program indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of individual-level human resource planning, including the ability to recognize personal potential, set short-term and long-term goals, and design career development strategies. Students’ learning motivation and interest in entrepreneurship also increased, as evidenced by their active participation in discussions and their confidence in expressing creative business ideas. In addition, students’ creativity developed through exercises in designing simple product or service concepts relevant to their surrounding environment. The impact of the program was not only felt by students individually but also by the school, as it contributed to the growth of an entrepreneurial culture and opened opportunities for continued collaboration between the school and higher education institutions. Overall, this PKM activity successfully made a tangible contribution to improving the quality of human resources at SMKN 1 Ciruas, particularly through strengthening motivation, creativity, self-planning skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. This program is expected to become a sustainable initiative that supports students’ readiness to enter the workforce or to start independent entrepreneurial ventures.

Keywords: Motivation, Creativity, Human Resource Planning, Entrepreneurship, SMKN 1 Ciruas, Community Service Program.
Anak Agung Gede Darma Jata Ahmad Ghoni Copyright (c) 2025 Majalah Ilmiah UPI YPTK https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-28 2025-12-28 132 136 Computer Vision Technology Innovation Education to Support Early Warning Systems for Rice Diseases https://jmi-upiyptk.org/ojs/index.php/jmi/article/view/199
Rice plant diseases are one of the main factors causing decreased productivity and threatening national food security. The program was developed based on previous research findings indicating that religious coping through positive self-talk contributes significantly to the improvement of adolescents’ self-efficacy. Preliminary observations conducted at MA Darussa’adah revealed that many final-year students experienced low academic confidence, particularly in relation to pursuing higher education, due to perceived limited opportunities and socio-economic constraints.Using a community-based participatory approach, this program implemented a series of guided activities focusing on positive self-talk integrated with muhasabah (self-reflective religious practice). Language was positioned as an internal cognitive and affective tool that helps students regulate emotions, reconstruct self-perception, and strengthen belief in their academic abilities. The activities included reflective discussions, affirmation exercises, and guided muhasabah sessions designed to internalize positive and faith-based language patterns. The results of the program indicate an observable improvement in students’ academic self-efficacy, reflected in increased confidence, more positive self-statements, and stronger motivation to pursue higher education. This community service initiative demonstrates that the internalization of positive language within a religious coping framework can serve as an effective strategy to empower Madrasah students academically and psychologically. The program also highlights the potential integration of linguistic, educational, and religious approaches in community-based interventions for adolescent development.
Aziizatul Khusniyah Erina Rahmajati Jonathan Aditya Widyansyah Siti Fanny Nafiza Imaniyyah Copyright (c) 2025 Majalah Ilmiah UPI YPTK https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-20 2025-12-20 165 172 10.35134/jmi.v32i2.204
